Hey there. I've extended your partial block to the "Esolang:" namespace, due to the recent activity. It may or may not block you from re-creating the deleted page (the documentation is slightly unclear); I'd prefer if you didn't even try, since the rather obvious next consequence will be a sitewide block. We — as in, the people who more or less maintain the wiki — have discussed the whole sandbox thing, and collectively agree that it has a specific, functional purpose: editing tests for cases where the preview functionality doesn't quite cut it. It's not supposed to be preserved in perpetuity (though like any page, the historical revisions are in fact all still there), and it's also not supposed to be any sort of in-group joke. The same applies to the wiki as a whole: there may be some jokes in it, but it is not a joke; it has a specific purpose. Anyway, I'm sure you've already seen the more elaborate explanation in User_talk:Ais523#the_war. You're welcome to host old sandbox content elsewhere if you feel like there's a point to it. Please don't vandalise pages

The purpose of this wiki is to document esoteric programming languages.

In many cases, someone designs a language and puts it on the wiki, using the wiki to explain how it works. If you then try to change the page by, e.g., adding commands (as you did on 0134), the page will no longer describe the language correctly, meaning that the wiki will no longer document the language correctly. As such, doing that replaces (hopefully) correct information with incorrect information, and is vandalism – please don't do it. --ais523 14:02, 23 August 2024 (U T C)
