What did User:Unname4798 do to you?
User:Ractangle (Discord:belarusianflag)
Esolang
I understand that it's Lambda Calculus, but it's hard to recreate something like that. -5anz (talk) 16:07, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz
- the maybe with missing prerservation of the actual commands. so the program forgot what it did last
- The program can just do that anyways? -5anz
- wadda ya mean? Yayimhere (talk) 16:12, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- Take Python, the line
x = input()
is immediately forgoten about, the only evidence it happened is that x is now whatever the user put in. -5anz- no i mean immeadtly. like for example
x = input()
would first takex =
then forget it did that(so now x is null) and will take input and do nothing with that Yayimhere (talk) 16:20, 24 November 2024 (UTC)(from now on ill just be writing ~)- Then how would you store data? The way I was thinking of removing data was making it self modifying, so, unless we embed, say,
Print "a"
as one command, there's now ay we can do it! wait... -5anz (talk) 16:25, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz (Sounds good, I'll do 5.)- idk thats what we would have to find out. well a challenge would be you would have to cary the data with the commands:] ~
- hello? ~
- Sorry for being a bit late, I was working on an Eror interpreter, and had to feed my pets. Regardless, the "wait" was referring to how we could try ACTUALLY make
print("a")
(which I used the completely wrong syntax for Xb ) a command, and do the same for b, c, d, e, f, and so on, but now that I think about it, Befunge exists, although I guess you could make the argument that ^, >, v, and < exist, but we could just add warps? 5- Can you please add why you took so long to reply when you... reply? 5
- Reminder that we still need to work on the Esolang. 5
- sorry i needed to sleep. also the befunge thing is like yea but not rlly. it wouldbt work cuz it doesnt even have a syntax *where* you can forget.
- But befunge has arrows and quotes. "!dlroW ,olleH" woul treat !, d, l, and so as commands! 5
- first of all the arrows arent like that and the string is such a little part it *would* be unique
- go on... (5)
- second of all if you made it forget that it would prop just say oh yea i did " now theres som e commands and no another " pusinh the empty string twice or smth y
- also i need to slepe bye!! y
- i have some time (y)
- Firstly, the reply chain is getting long again. we should move back to my profile. Secondly, good point, but you do realize you just proved that you proved my point further by saying that. Thirdly, I can not read a word of that. 5

Revert
I nearly thought that you had reverted my edit. I added 19 bytes, while you removed 19 bytes. User:ColorfulGalaxy's CA discoveries (talk) 08:08, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
