Ask me questions here :)
Just to note, it's a bad idea to add long repetitive text to pages: the spam filter was rejecting that, and I agree with it. Instead of writing out a long string, you can usually just say "81062 copies of the letter m
" or the like; that's both easier to write, and easier for readers to read. --ais523 07:02, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
esolang?
want to collab on an esolang??? Yayimhere (talk) 09:48, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sure? What's the concept? Or is it that we both think of one? -5anz (talk) 11:06, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz
- i think we should come up with one each then combine them Yayimhere (talk) 11:30, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- I can't think of anything right now, but I'll try to do so. -5anz (talk) 11:40, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz
- same. see ya!!! Yayimhere (talk) 11:40, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- Possible concept: all 3 of my esolangs are missing something, B i n a r y is missing an obvious gap between commands, CharLang is missing usability, and Eror is missing any real form of control flow. We could make an Esolang missing something else, but I can't think of anything other than Data. -5anz (talk) 13:10, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz
- umm idk. ill have to think about that Yayimhere (talk) 13:11, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- Ok. -5anz (talk) 13:36, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz
- maybe its missing commands. so kinda the reverse of what you said. it would be hard but fun -_Yayimhere (talk) 13:38, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- One small problem with that: How would that work without being Nope. or Error? Esolangs, and, programming languages in general can only work with commands. You could try something like brainfuck but ternary, an betweeny-ish (so 012 would translate to >, because 01 is > an 12 is ,),but even then, every character is just 2 commands! -5anz (talk) 14:47, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz
- it could be kinda like a ZISC where you only specify data
- Well yes, but how the heck are you supposed to do that without directly copying it or changing a bit about some com- MEMORY ACCESS, I mean memory access. -5anz (talk) 15:05, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz
- well you could make an esolang where data creates functions which are the output of the language. the computation is data to function just for example -_Yayimhere (talk) 15:07, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- I mean, sure, but I feel like that would be kinda be very impossible. I just think it would be easier just to leave out data instead. -5anz (talk) 15:37, 24 November 2024 (UTC)5anz
- thats just Lambda Calculus. and it wouldnt be very hard Yayimhere (talk) 16:02, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- We need to move to your account. this reply chain is getting too long. -You already know.

if you couldnt read a word of ithow did you understand. also it doesnt matter if smth thecnically has been made its a br doing example so we could still make it bro (y)
- Firstly, I was talking about the second thing. Secondly, do you mind if I fix your typos to make your replies more readable so I can... read them? 5
- im very confused on how you can read what i say while not reading it y
- The first thing is readable. The second thing has enough typos to make it unreadable. 5
- k. ill resend it and then can we continue ti talk? Xff (talk) 16:43, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- also an esolang where it only modifies how the program access memory if we need smth else(although it wouldnt fit yer esolang theme)
- or it missing memory access is missing? idk
- Basic idea: it's 100% self modifying, so although variables, stacks, tapes, etc. don't exist, we can still change/access commands within the code. P.S, I'm fixing your typos. 5
- thx. also if it is self modifying it shouldn't be like memory in code its still fun that you need to carry data with the pointer. also if this is to unoriginal we could do missing commands(its possible since some esolangs syntax and parsing is complex enough to be tc)
- I don't think it matters that it's COMPLETELY original, just that people can't look at it for 0.01 seconds and say "Isn't that just"... idk, "Forte?". Plus, this is (to my knowledge) the first Collab on Esolang (at least, by 2 people who were already making their own esolangs), so if we were really worried about originality, there's that. 5
- same. but should we do missing commands? y
- I know it's possible, but that doesn't mean we SHOULD do it.

JUST TALK
We needed to create an esolang called Just talk. It may be inspired by "Smalltalk". ColorfulGalaxy's CA discoveries (talk) 13:47, 24 November 2024 (UTC)

You've been posting a lot of useless information on talk and user talk pages recently. This is primarily a wiki for documenting esoteric programming languages, not socialising; most of your contributions should be based on documenting esolangs. --ais523 20:25, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry.
