Moving pages

You can't delete a page outright unless you're an administrator; if you think a page needs deleting, you can ask an administrator to do it on the talk page.

However, you don't need to delete a page to change its name; just choose "Move" from the drop-down menu next to "View history". This also keeps the history of the original page around, and automatically redirects the original title to the new page. I've merged the history of the two pages, so no worries. ehird (talk) 16:16, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

File:Wikipedia A Programming Language Is.png

You recently uploaded File:Wikipedia A Programming Language Is.png, but it has the Wikipedia logo visible, which isn't public-domain (and a couple of other images too, which I haven't checked the copyright status of). Would it be possible to crop the non-public-domain parts out of the image --ais523 16:28, 6 December 2024 (UTC)

Hi ais523. I've switched the image for one from the Esolangs wiki itself. I am assuming it is okay to show what is already on the wiki in an image. I did this as a new image so the name would be correct. I can't seem to delete the old image, are you able to do that? Thanks --Rottytooth (talk) 03:13, 8 December 2024 (UTC)

I've deleted the old image. --ais523 11:46, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
