Please stop spamming

Although Redcode is an esolang, and Core War is esolang-related, you are advertising it excessively at the moment. Emphasising something in almost all your edit summaries, and adding multiple links to it on all related pages, is spamming, and spam isn't welcome here even if it is ontopic. --ais523 13:47, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

Well, i can think of no better way to bring attention to it, which are losing activity as fast as IRC does, with more than half the activity created by User:impomatic, which were insignificant at around 20 years ago. But Core War was so popular earlier that there were $ awards with multiple tournaments, lots of newsletters and websites, and several challenges to the hills per day! And, programming games is actually a major genre of games due to the differences from any other type of game. Both means that Core War really deserve more attention than is has now. And the next few years might be the last chance to revive it before it went completely dead.

I'll leave this wiki alone for now, but please do anything you can to bring attention to Core War in ways you consider legal, because your activity in BF joust means you like programming games as well, and surely don't want Core War to go dead as well. iddi01 dislikes Discord indefinitely (talk) (Semi-serious language list) (Uniсode) 05:29, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
