Alternate Name

Isn't it technically Hello# / HelloSharp? --SpaceByte (talk) 15:44, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Possibly not qualifying

I highly doubt this language or it's author are being sincere. I'd put it up for spam, and delete it, but I'm not sure what it is. If this is your first time using the wiki on esolangs.org, welcome! We hate to discourage first tries, but this does not seem to qualify as a complete language. It would be great if you removed it's linkage to other lists, and added it to the work in progress page: Works in progress Thanks for wanting to use the site! I'm a bit of a newbie on the site too, so don't worry about your first attempts. No matter what, though, this page contradicts itself in a few ways. Please fix these before declaring the page as a completed language. Nathanator1416j (talk) 16:48, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

It does seem to be a full language, if not a very interesting one. It's similar, if not identical, to Text. --ais523 14:44, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
I don't know...I don't think the author is very informed. Should the grammar be changed and the self promoting sentences ("Thats why programmers love it", as there is no evidence anyone uses it at all) be removed? Also, it contradicts itself, stating once that it is turning complete, and another place it isn't. Nathanator1416j (talk) 17:37, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
It has been changed many times. The name is now Hello++++, which makes it related to Hello++ and Hello. The original one (Hello) has a command h that prints Hello World. Also it doesn't state that it's Turingcomplete now. So it's just a small surgery on Hello++ and Hello.

Grammar

It would also be good if you fixed your grammar. You also state that the Hello line of languages are related to BF, which I have taken the liberty of removing. Nathanator1416j (talk) 16:52, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Policies

May I remind you of policy 3: Articles on languages you made yourself are encouraged, unlike for example Wikipedia. However, these may still be mercilessly edited by others. In most cases this is a good thing. And the second part of 6: Also, be bold in editing pages. Nathanator1416j (talk) 17:00, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
