moar cheese :3 is an esoteric programming language made by User:Dragoneater67 in 2026.

Overview

The program is a space-separated list of instructions executed left-to-right, it halts after the last instruction was executed. There is an unbounded queue of bytes initially empty. The program outputs the final state of the queue as a string when it halts.

moar cheese :3 instruction table
Instruction Description
c(code) (Re)define a new instruction with name c that executes code when used (the name is limited to a single ASCII character).
(c) Enqueue the character c as a byte.
() Dequeue a byte and execute it as an instruction.
Any undefined instruction Do nothing.

Dequeueing an empty queue halts the program.

Computational class

moar cheese :3 is Turing complete since it can simulate a Cyclic tag system. The program starts by enqueueing the data-string by enqueueing its bit individually, for example, this enqueues data-string 01:

(0) (1)

This is followed by:

l(encoded production rules l) l

Each production rule is encoded this way:

1(enqueue some bits) ()

For example production rule 01 is encoded as:

1((0) (1)) ()

XKCD Random Number
