🍦 is an esoteric programming language made by User:Dragoneater67 in 2026. It was inspired by OpenBSD toaster and Cateogirws..

Overview

The program is a cyclic grid of instructions. There is a program counter initially placed on the top-right corner of the grid and facing the right direction. At each step, it executes the instruction its pointing to, then moves 1 step in its direction. There are 2 stacks of bits: A and B.

🍦 instruction table
Instruction Description
1 Push 1 to stack A.
0 Push 0 to stack A.
/ Swap stacks A and B.
\ Pop a bit from stack A and push it into stack B.
~ Pop a bit from stack A, if it is 1, turn the program 90 degrees clockwise.
Everything else Do nothing.

Popping an empty stack halts the program.

I/O extension

These commands add supoort for I/O.

I/O extension instruction table
Instruction Description
. Pop 8 bits and output them as an ASCII character.
, Input an ASCII character and push its ASCII code as 8 bits, does nothing on EOF.

Computational class

🍦 is Turing complete since it is equivalent to BitBrain-R. Every program starts with:

0/000000000/

The rest is converted using this table:
