I like кече. Heres my thinking pulled straight from the thought-pool:
Create an L-language, where the single "TC program", while assuring its exclusively finitely many programs. Let's assume its input is just a straight up list(just to not deal with string processing). I dont have much else. I dont have many thoughts RN, since its 20.59 lmao, but yea ill come with more later. --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 18:59, 10 October 2026 (UTC)
It's 00:19 where I am, so I would do that later --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 19:19, 10 October 2026 (UTC)
- yep:) --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 19:47, 10 October 2026 (UTC)
So I added some small language, it for now has no self modification and arithmetic (which is essential to make infinite programs).
Also, about integers stored in 2d grid, what about making 2D OISC language? --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 08:55, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- 2d ZISC? even? also maybe im misunderstanding smth but why need the programs be infinite? --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 09:14, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- Oh sorry, I mean "infinite amount of possible programs" --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 09:20, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- I mean weren't we aiming for L completeness, as opposed to normal compilation. --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 09:41, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- If we are aiming at L-completeness then no, we don't need it. --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 09:55, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- Precisely! wasn't that what we was aiming at? --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 10:05, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- My CT translation had a few errors but I found that Grill Tag can be implemented on a 7x7 square. If you want to you can try to make some other small implementations --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 10:50, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- Cool. my idea for reaching a weirder comp class was, having the implementation and changing the language around to chnge that implementations behaviour. So, could I be allowed to mess around with it a bit? not right now but later. --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 11:09, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- That's a good idea! What about also making so that instructions would act differently based on x or y coordinate? So that if x is even it would do one thing, if odd other, or maybe that if x and y coordinates are coprime then do different thing. --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 13:34, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- It turns out Grill tag has error so now it's fixed and 8x7 --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 13:42, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- I havent seen languages which instruction depends on x and y coordinate, so it could be based not on changing interpeter, but instruction would have different function in different coordinates and it's possible to change with what coordinates it does what. It actually has potential to be used for 1L-like language --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 13:48, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- Great!! But yea, please have some patience/leaave it as is for a few days lol, im just so fuckin tired after some stuff at school but I swear I'll work good like... at some point! this is a very fun concept :) --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 14:13, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- Also, just in case we can make maximum size 10x10 --ChuckEsoteric08 (talk) 14:32, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
- Sure. --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 15:45, 11 October 2026 (UTC)
