lesser known programming languages in deletion log

Why are pages from the lesser known programming languages often in the deletion log? Example: DOGO --Aardwolf 14:08, 28 Oct 2005 (GMT)

Well this time someone just added a header with "headline text" and the text "hello" under it if I remember correctly. --BodyTag 14:42, 28 Oct 2005 (GMT)

How come INTERCAL is not on the list? 2620:C6:8000:100:E5B2:7FE1:492:32A4 20:02, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

"This is a list of esoteric languages that are not of any interest except for potential humor value. Generally speaking, they are completely unusable for programming even in theory, trivial and less interesting variations on existing esoteric languages, or too underspecified to determine any potential usability."
INTERCAL may be humorous, but it is possible to write real programs in it. It is not just a joke. Therefore you will find it in the main Language list. --Ørjan (talk) 23:01, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

There are many languages, like SCREAMCODE that are brainfuck equivalents but still in the list, even though it is possible to write real programs (since they are brainfuck equivalents). --None1 (talk) 13:39, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
