BANCStar implementation

You had posted on the BANCStar page that you heard of somebody trying to rescue a real-life implementation off some old floppy disk. Did you ever hear any news on that? There are a lot of holes in our understanding that could be filled if we could get an implementation, even if it's binary only. --GreyKnight (talk) 13:39, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

Most of what I know comes from the LIST source and its attached test data files. There are a whole lot of things I can't tell this way, plus a few things that I'm not 100% sure are being treated properly even in LIST itself (the variant 9401 instructions, for example). I've at least managed to create an assembler/disassembler, but I think there are too many "maybe"s to try building an interpreter yet. --GreyKnight (talk) 13:51, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
