The structure is tree-like. Each node may have children, and is by default 1 in value. A node may be connected to a child multiple times.
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
m |
Combine all immediate children into a single node, adding their values together. All children of the nodes are inherited to the new node. If any of the merged nodes were the child of another node, replace it with a negative-valued node. |
s |
Sever any parallel edges between a node and its children. |
t |
Travel downward to the nth child, where n is the value of the node. If this is higher than the amount of children it has, or is less than or equal to zero, return to the beginning of the program. |
p |
Travel to the nth parent, where n is the value of the node. If this is higher than the amount of parents it has, or it isless than or equal to zero, halt the program. |
a |
Add a new child. |
l |
Create a connection from this node to the last child of the previous node (according to the parent). If there is no previous node or the node has no children, skip the next command. |
f |
Create a connection from this node to the first child of the next node (according to the parent). If there is no next node or the node has no children, skip the next command. |
n |
Normalize a node's value to be within [-1, 1]. |
i |
Inherit the value of the first child, removing it. |
