Function call

Is a function called only from inside ($) and when defined? --Blashyrkh (talk) 05:07, 23 October 2026 (UTC)

Yes -- i  s  l  p  t  n  g  07:59, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
Would it be correct to implement it this way:
  • when [ is encountered, push pointer to the first instruction after corresponding ] to the call stack, then continue execution from the instruction following the [;
  • when function is called ($), pointer to the next instruction is pushed to the call stack, then execution starts from the beginning of the current function;
  • when ] is executed (or , and condition is satisfied), next instruction pointer is popped from the call stack.

I remember implementing it just in that way. -- i  s  l  p  t  n  g  08:21, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
