PsiK' (pronounced Psych) is an esoteric programming language made by User:Dragoneater67 in 2026 with some help from User:PkmnQ.

Overview

The language uses the Ψ and K' combinators, represented by ψ and k respectively, it uses the ~ postfix for function application (so xy~ applies y to x). Applications are lazily evaluated in right-to-left order. These combinators have been derived:

I/O

The language has 2 special combinators that are used for I/O:

  • x! -- takes an argument and returns it, has the side effect of outputting the character x.
  • x? -- takes an argument, inputs a character from the user, and checks if it is equal to character x, push K combinator, else push K' combinator.
