Edit warring
Hi H33T33, Yayimhere, this is a polite clarification of our expectations. I'm saying this before the edit war gets worse. This is not a prelude to punishment, but to arbitration in the case that you cannot resolve your differences. You are both promising young programmers and I want to encourage you to continue learning and growing while not fighting.
H33T33, first, please try to understand that this wiki is a collaboration. It is a place where we all work together. Quoting esolang:policy, "Articles on languages you made yourself are encouraged, unlike for example Wikipedia. However, these may still be mercilessly edited by others. In most cases this is a good thing." If you want to document a programming language and have full control over the documentation then you need to find a separate website to host that documentation. Second, please consider that we generally want to have proofs of our assertions. Turing-completeness is a non-trivial property which usually requires a constructive proof that any Turing machine (or any program from some other Turing-complete language) can be faithfully embedded.
Yayimhere, please try to give other people the space to learn and make mistakes. It is okay for folks to be wrong about their own languages on this wiki, because we only learn when we discover that we were wrong. Second, please consider that we want proofs of wrongness. If you have a proof that the documented complexity class of a language is wrong then please leave it on the talk page for that language first. It's okay to take a few moments to compose a more thoughtful message.
I will leave a note on both subpages of Topple pointing here so that everybody gets a watchlist notification. Thanks for reading. If you have feedback, you can leave it here or you can join IRC. Peace. Corbin (talk) 19:20, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry, I had tried to explain, but I was in a rush, and didnt realize it propably didnt. I deleted the thing because I didnt see any proof(so it'd be inaccurate), but I just couldn't understand the operations of the language, combined with my lack of time(Christmas and all that), I didnt get time to prove or disprove it. So since the proof was non formal and all that, I ended up deleting it, because uknow, it wasn't much of a proof. Im sorry, I'll try to be better from now on. peace. --Yayimhere2(school) (talk) 19:38, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
