- As an author, they may publish it anywhere under different licenses. Licenses - they are not for the author, they are for us. We may
git clonethe code from github, and then we're limited by MIT license. Or we may download the code from esolangs, then the same code is in public domain. The author may even publish the same code under some commercial license. It's an author's choice. --Blashyrkh (talk) 22:28, 5 September 2026 (UTC)
