Here's a very stupid loophole. It says you can't make a new esolang for the sole purpose of continuing a stopped server, but it doesn't say anything about giving an existing esolang a new name. (Probably not a good idea to actually use this, but hey, in theory it works.) –PkmnQ (talk) 22:28, 26 August 2025 (UTC)

Since its inception, this page has generated over 50 edits, of which maybe 2 added an idea for a game that's loosely related to esolangs, while the rest have zero informative contents even by this wiki's low standards. I think this page should be deleted. --Int-e (talk) 17:06, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
In addition, I'm not sure that this game has a healthy educational purpose. Esochain is a variant on wikipedia:word chain games given to children to aid them in memorizing, pronouncing, spelling, and working with essential etymologies: names of colors, animals, plants, etc. Unlike variants like wikipedia:shiritori, there is no misplay. So the goal of the game is merely to know as many names of esoteric languages as possible. This is not a valuable goal on its own. Corbin (talk) 17:14, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
