@$ will increase the next cell by 2 and return to the orginal cell and we can repedeaetly do this, then put an k, then end it with an c. We can make an forever loop like "@$kc" and insert anything between the k and c to make this functional. --Mrtli08 (talk) 20:16, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Challenges

I think I can prove the hello world impossible. The only two commands that can output are ^ and %. We can't use %, since that just repeats the output, so it has to be ^. However, this means that we'll need to exit the loop for the program to halt; the only way for this to happen is if the cell is 0 when the ^ command is run, which will output a null byte.

I think the BF interpreter and calculator, (as well as maybe OS and AI depending on what they actually entail, I can't actually tell), can also be proven impossible by this, but I can't rule out FizzBuzz or self-interpreter.

However, this doesn't rule out programs similar to hello world that get past this, such as a hello world+null byte at the end, or hello world that loops instead of halting, but you can't output hello world without taking input and then halt without outputting anything else.
