Are the functions attributed to each of the Singmaster notation actions arbitrary, or is there a reason why they're in that order? The way I see it, if there's a programming language based on the Rubik's Cube, either the functions, memory, or some other attribute should be based on the idea that it is in fact a 3x3x3 cube.
