PESOIX is a system for extending arbitrary esoteric programming languages with the ability to use advanced operating system facilities, while making as few requirements as possible of the intrinsic I/O abilities of the underlying language.

It hopes to harmonize and unify other systems with similar purposes, such as EsoAPI.
