It was my pleasure to write. I feel like there's probably a really clever way to do it without bc, but it probably involves using sed to do math, and that's frightening. By the way, I had half a mind to implement Somnypna when I first read the spec, but I realized that was probably because I was just as tired as you were when you wrote it.
