Don't you just love how simple rules can unlock the same computational power as the most powerful supercomputers?
Hi, I'm Rainwave. I've been active on the esolang wiki since 2026. I mostly author my own esolangs, but I also occasionally help other creators with Turing completeness proof. I love creating Turing tarpits and minimalistic computational models. In fact, you could say that almost all of my esolangs were made for the sake of knowing whether they're Turing complete or not.
I am active on the Esolangs Discord server where I usually post my newly published creations.
My esolangs
These are the esolangs that I created, listed in the order of creation. The ones with a star are my favorites. The ones with an excalamation mark are Turing complete.
2025
I came up with several esolang ideas in 2025, but they are all terrible and obviously not worth publishing.
2026
- Offset ⭐❗
- Leafuck ❗
- .dot-hyphen
- K-Pointers Cycle Machine
- A Painter Ant ❗
- The Exasperation Machine ⭐❗
- GNAW ❗
- Immutable Brainfuck ❗
- Frozen Pointer ⭐
Other esolangs that I like
- I/D machine (unmatched minimalism)
- Bitwise cyclic tag (extremely useful for proofs)
