Sandbox War

Written by --PrySigneToFry

Spark

Originally, the sandbox page was only used for test editing, so that new users could familiarize themselves with the Markdown format used by Wikipedia.

However, some users have been reckless in this testing world, adding content that has nothing to do with programming, and even vandalizing the page.

War

Later, The Administrator of Esolang Wiki deleted all the content in the sandbox page and posted a "notice" that it could not add "eternal" content to the sandbox page, and that the test content must be deleted after the test was completed.

Some user(especially User:tommyaweosme) was disagree for this event, and someone even shouted, "BRING BACK THE OLD SANDBOX". Then, the mess got bigger, and the whole wiki was divided into three camps, one lead by The Administrator of Esolang Wiki, the other lead by tommyaweosme, and a "neutral" side (which the vast majority of users turned a blind to this event(At the outbreak of the war, I was also neutral, but then, I "leaned toward"-s The Administrator of Esolang Wiki)).

Result

After that, Sandbox War "ended", tommyaweosme and Unname4798 are banned to edit Esolang:Sandbox. Anti-keep side finnaly win.

Result of tommyaweosme(Primary war criminal)

Banned to edit Esolang:Sandbox because "repeated attempts to disturb the use of the Sandbox for testing, e.g. by changing section headers or instructions, or warring to keep edits present – and only minimal use of the Sandbox for actual test edits".

Result of Unname4798

Banned to edit all pages under namespace Esolang because "repeatedly messing with the sandbox instructions, in a way that could confuse new users; repeatedly creating a misleading homoglyph variant of the sandbox".

Summary

Don't edit nonsenses in Sandbox, 'cause it just for testing.

After that, what did I do?

I will don't actually edit Esolang:Sandbox, just only show preview and then delete it. I'll also help for delete testing content. I'll try to let such things don't happen the second time.
