Redirekt

Redirekt is an esoteric data structure made by user:tommyaweosme.

It works like this: you can place data on any part of an infinitely long line. Gravity will push it down. Any two data that intersects will permenantly merge (by addition, concatenation, or any other operation you feel is necessary to fit "merge"), and every time a data that was part of the merge is used it will be redirected to become this merge.

If this is limited, than it can be a fun gimmick to add to an esolang.
