HaPyLi is a programming language designed to compile to Whitespace, with syntax derived from Haskell, Python, and Lisp.

It was created in 2009 by Cybis and announced on the Whitespace mailing list.[1] The HaPyLi website went offline some time between 2013 and 2015 and the source code was lost until 2023, when the author provided a copy.[2] It is now maintained at github.com/wspace/cybis-hapyli, including the tutorial.
