Moving pages

Hi! Just so you know, if you want to rename a page in future, it's easier to use the "Move" link from the drop-down menu next to "View history". This has the advantage that it also moves the talk page, and retains the history from the previous page. I've merged the history of Basic Input/Output Commander and Basic Input/Output Commands, so no worries. (By the way, it's generally frowned-upon to modify other people's talk page comments; if you have something to add or correct after a comment has been replied to, it's best to simply add a new comment in reply to your previous comment.) —ehird 12:21, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Ah, it seems like anonymous editors can't move pages. If you want to rename a page, it's probably best to ask on the corresponding talk page, so that a registered editor can do it for you. (Of course, if you create an account, you'll be able to do it without asking.) —ehird 18:49, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
